Welcome to Catwalk Creative Vintage, home of quality, hand-picked vintage clothing, accessories and costume jewellery from the 1920s to 1990s.
I'm Louise, owner of Catwalk Creative, and also part-time editor of vintage fashion blog, Catwalk Threads. Business started in 2005, although my love of vintage clothing and collecting began much earlier. I personally source all the pieces that you see on this website, and spend lots of time making sure that each item reaches my customer in tip-top condition. Each piece is carefully inspected, cleaned, pressed and polished where necessary. My photographs include lots of fine detail, and you'll find measurements and condition reports with each item too.
My online emporium opened for business in 2008 and it's seen quite a few changes since then. Having my own website is the perfect way to showcase the vintage treasures that I'm so passionate about. I have a sterling reputation in the vintage clothing industry and have many repeat customers from around the globe. Please take a look at the Testimonials page to see what they have to say.
I'm an active member of the Vintage Fashion Guild, an international organisation for vintage fashion professionals. Trade members adhere to a strict Code of Practice, which means that we aim to provide the best possible customer service experience, from providing designer and/or label information and accurate measurements to including a condition report and clear, crisp images. The table below shows the 'Guide to Condition' statement from the VFG, which shows clearly the terms I use to describe the vintage goods you'll find on this website.
Merchandise is sourced from contacts I've developed in the UK and abroad. I also buy collections or individual pieces from private clients, so you can be sure to find something special to add to your own collection. All items are thoroughly inspected, cleaned and refurbished where necessary. I take great pride in the merchandise I offer so I'm sure you'll be delighted with your purchase.
